RBA appoints new secretary
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) on Tuesday appointed Anthony Dickman as its secretary.
Dickman has been acting secretary since last August. He was appointed after David Emanuel, the central bank's previous secretary, announced his intent to retire at the end of 2010. Emanuel has spent 47 at the Australian central bank, and served as secretary for 24 years.
