Faulty paper halts note production at De La Rue

De La Rue, the world's largest banknote printing firm, on Wednesday saw its shares tumble after it suspended production at its main plant in the United Kingdom on Tuesday.

The firm said only that production at the plant in Hampshire has failed to meet certain quality standards, declining to specify any further.
