Zimbabwe orders end to seizure of central bank assets

Zimbabwe's government has ordered creditors to stop stripping the central bank of its assets in a bid to save it from collapsing, Zimbabwe's finance minister said on Sunday.

Tendai Biti, the finance minister of Zimbabwe's coalition government, told the Sunday Mail, a state-run newspaper, the government cabinet had reached a decision last week to stop the auctioning of assets belonging to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe after it emerged that companies were stripping the central bank of its assets at
