Danish central bank sees profit drop 41%

The National Bank of Denmark saw a steep drop in profits last year, according to its annual report and accounts, published on Wednesday.

Profits at the central bank dropped from DKr6.73 billion ($1.24 billion) in 2008 to DKr3.95 billion last year. "The changes are to a large extent attributable to financial market developments as a result of the international financial crisis," the central bank said.
