Canada’s Longworth set to leave

David Longworth, a deputy governor of the Bank of Canada, will retire next March, the central bank said on Thursday.

"I don't plan to slacken off over the period until my retirement, as there remains a lot of work to be done in the financial system and monetary policy areas," he said. There is no indication as yet of what he might move on to.
