Bomb explodes near Iraq central bank
The blast occurred during rush hour in a shopping district in central Baghdad, Associated Press reported. Parts of the area were sealed off to ordinary traffic because of security precautions.
The shell landed about 300 yards from the central bank but did not damage it, said Brig. Ali al-Mousawi, who is responsible for security at the bank, according to AP.
