UK growth hit by global slowdown

UK - Fears of a sharp slowdown in the British economy have grown after official figures showed output was weaker than expected in the first three months of the year.

ARTICLE - The figures released on Apr 27 increase the chance that the Bank of England will cut interest rates again at its next meeting on May 9-10.
