Czech president appoints new CNB board members

The President of the Czech Republic, Vaclav Klaus, at Prague Castle on Friday 11 February appointed three new members to the Bank Board of the Czech National Bank. He also said Zdenik Tma will remain CNB Governor for a further six-year term.

The new Bank Board members with effect from 13 February 2005 are Miroslav Singer, who has been named Vice-Governor, and Robert Holman and Pavel eabek.

Vice-Governor Ludik Niedermayer (whose mandate runs to 26 February 2008) and Chief Executive Directors
