French central bank employees demonstrate again

Bank of France employees went on strike again Thursday and demonstrated in Paris. The action concerned plans to close a number of the Bank's branches.

Today, employees of French central bank Banque de France came out on strike again and staged another demonstration in Paris. They are protesting against restructuring plans for the bank, which will involve a number of branch closures. About 17 per cent of the workforce are to be hived off.
