"The card acceptance problem and synchronization of ATM software and the BNB's banking software has led to the undue delay in its introduction", said the managing director of BNB, Kipchu Tshering.
Initially customers will be charged 400 ngultrum - 100 for the card and 300 as an annual maintenance fee
