Ex-Indonesia governor gets two years

Syahril Sabirin, a former governor of Bank Indonesia, will face two years in jail after the country's highest court overturned a verdict given seven years ago.

Sabirin was acquitted in August 2002 of all charges connected to his alleged involvement in the so-called "Baligate" case, which involved the illegal transfer of funds from the central bank to Bank Bali that were then used to fund a presidential campaign.
