Visa starts court case against RBA over reforms

Visa International on Monday 19 May began legal action in court against the Reserve Bank of Australia, saying the RBA did not have the power to undertake sweeping reforms of Australia's credit card industry.

Australia's central bank did not have the power to undertake sweeping reforms of the nation's credit card industry, a major credit card company said today.

Visa International today commenced legal action in the Federal Court against the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA)
