Poland's central bank chief 'in the line of fire'

POLAND - The Polish owner of a shooting range has found himself in trouble over images of the central bank governor's face which have been used as targets.

Poland's central bank governor, Leszek Balcerowicz is blamed by many Poles for economic hardships but a rifle club in Warsaw has taken Balcerowicz's unpopularity to extremes.

The shooting range with images of his face has proved popular. But the owner of the range has been charged under laws that protect public figures from personal attack.
