ECB announces changes in senior management

The Executive Board of the European Central Bank (ECB) announced Thursday 3 August it has decided on some changes in the senior management.

The changes are in accordance with its policy to promote mobility within the ECB, which is aimed at strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation, the ECB said.

The following changes will take effect as of 1 January 2007:

Mr. Frank Moss, Director General Secretariat and Language Services will be appointed as Director General International
