Another term as governor for RBA's Macfarlane?

The Australian Treasurer speaking on Sunday 30 marchintensified speculation that Ian Macfarlane would be given a second seven year term as governor of the RBA saying he has obviously discharged his duties very finely.

Australian Treasurer Peter Costello on Sunday strongly endorsed central bank governor Ian Macfarlane, hinting he will likely be reappointed when his first term expires in September.
