Portfolio managers make up largest share of reserve teams

Staff average annual earnings hover around $30,000 level

Reserve managers tend to deploy more human capital to portfolio management sub-divisions than to other units, the Reserve Benchmarks 2024 finds.

An average of 10.2 staff work in the portfolio management and trading units of reserve departments. The risk management sub-unit accounts for 8.4 persons, on average, while technology employees average 4.8 individuals.
