Polish central bank accuses critics of following Russian propaganda
Glapiński attacks critics, including opposition parties, as Poland prepares for election
Poland’s central bank has put up a billboard on its Warsaw headquarters, accusing critics of its monetary policy of siding with Russia’s government.
The billboard, put up on May 17, is the latest extraordinary attack on the government’s critics by National Bank of Poland governor Adam Glapiński. It does not explicitly mention Poland’s opposition parties, but clearly implicates them, as they have criticised Glapiński’s record on inflation.
