Risk Management Benchmarks 2023 – presentation

Specialist Victor Mendez-Barreira discusses market volatility, cyber security and progress on climate change

Cyber security has risen to become the leading concern for risk managers. Over 74% of participants in the Risk Management Benchmarks now rank it as one of their top three risks. In fact, almost 39% highlighted it as their first concern.

Reputational risk came in second place in the 2023 benchmark. In total, two-thirds of central banks said reputational risk is among their top three risk management concerns, and 23% said it is the main risk factor for their institutions.
