The Bank of England and UK’s Financial Conduct Authority announced that most Libor settings will cease to be published at the end of this year.

Regulators have been warning for several years that Libor would likely cease in 2021. Today (March 5), the FCA confirmed that all sterling, euro, Swiss franc and yen Libor settings, and the one-week and two-month US dollar Libor settings, will cease on December 31.

The remaining US dollar Libor settings will cease to be published on June 30, 2023.
