IMF expands flexible credit line with Colombia
The impact of Covid-19 is larger than when the programme was renewed in April
The executive board of the International Monetary Fund approved on September 25 an augmentation of the flexible credit line (FCL) arrangement with Colombia.
As a result, the programme stands now at 12.3 billion special drawing rights (SDR) ($17.2 billion), up 4.4 billion SDR from April, when the FCL was renewed. The augmentation does not extend the FCL’s time frame, so it is still scheduled to expire on April 30, 2022.
