The US-China trade conflict could cost the global economy GDP equivalent to the size of Switzerland’s economy, Kristalina Georgieva warned in her first speech as leader of the International Monetary Fund.
The new managing director chose to send a strong message in her first public remarks, releasing new data that shows the trade dispute could cut global GDP around $700 billion by 2020.
