Bank of Canada collaborates with private sector on cyber defence

New partnership with private sector bridges gaps in cyber resilience co-ordination, Poloz says

The Bank of Canada is partnering with the private sector to strengthen the cyber security of the financial sector.

The new group, the Canadian Financial Sector Resiliency Group (CFRG), is responsible for co-ordinating a sector-wide response to systemic-level operating incidents, such as cyber risks.
