Climate disclosures still ‘insufficient’ – task force
There has been progress on climate disclosures but much more is needed, report says
The Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) warns firms’ transparency on climate change is still “insufficient” for investors to be able to form a clear assessment of risks.
The group’s latest progress report, published on June 5, finds there have been some “encouraging” developments. But the task force is “concerned that not enough companies are disclosing decision-useful climate-related financial information”.
