EBA says Paris move will be complete by June 3
All governing meetings to be held in Paris from March 30 as EBA leaves London in response to Brexit
The European Banking Authority will hold all its governing body meetings from March 30 in Paris as it moves from its London headquarters as a result of Brexit.
The EBA was due to sign an agreement with the French authorities today (March 6) to “ensure the proper functioning of the authority”, it announced. The UK government is currently committed to taking the country out of the European Union on March 29, although it may ask for an extension.
France tied with Ireland in the selection process
