Rising prices fuel violence in capital as governor says he will seek foreign funds
Sudan’s central bank has again said it will introduce new high-denomination banknotes, while its governor has pledged to seek foreign funds to deal with the country’s economic crisis.
The Central Bank of Sudan announced on January 17 that it was introducing new 100 Sudanese pound banknotes in early February, according to Middle East Monitor.
