EBA issues updated list of risk indicators

European Banking Authority sets out latest indicators and “detailed risk analysis tools”

The European Banking Authority issued updated information on the risk indicators it uses for banking supervision on February 8.

The EBA said the list was mainly for its own internal use, but added that organisations such as national supervisory authorities could use them “to follow a consistent approach in their risk assessments”.

The document gives information on the EBA’s 53 key risk indicators, or KRIs. The EBA has been gathering information on how the KRIs have changed at a sample of 55
