Stress tests find vulnerabilities in European pension funds
More than a quarter of institutions could not fulfil their commitments following an adverse scenario
The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (Eiopa) has found through its stress tests that pension funds across the continent lack the resources to withstand a severe crisis.
Overall, 195 institutions from 20 countries belonging to the European Economic Area took part in the exercise.
