Bank of Russia must take commercial bank out of administration, prosecutor says

The Russian state prosecutor has called on the country’s central bank to suspend measures it has taken against a medium-sized commercial bank.

The Bank of Russia announced on July 10 it was effectively putting the privately-owned Jugra Bank into temporary administration for six months due to “the existence of a threat to its creditors’ and depositors’ interest”.
