Following earlier action in the year, central bank is unlikely to move interest rates again
Chile’s central bank is unlikely to move interest rates in the foreseeable future given that monetary policy has reached an “expansive level”, according to a recent report.
In its latest quarterly monetary policy report, the central bank announced it is “most probable” further movement in interest rates will not be needed following cuts of 100 basis points in 2017.
