Spanish central bank reorganises directorates

New associate director-general for banking supervision appointed

The Bank of Spain has carried out an internal reorganisation and appointed a new associate director-general for banking supervision, it announced on April 25.

A department for regulation has been created and assigned to the former directorate-general for financial stability and regulation, which has been re-named the directorate-general for financial stability, regulation and resolution. Jesús Saurina will continue as head of the directorate-general.
