Ravi Menon, managing director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, has said his counterparts in China will require a "fair amount of policy dexterity" to navigate the "treacherous waters" of international financial markets this year.
Speaking at UBS's Wealth Insights conference, Menon said tensions in China were likely to become "more stark" in 2017, due to expected global financial tightening and the strength of the US dollar.
