EBA recommends tighter regulation of European banks’ ‘large exposures’

Report calls for stricter limits on bank exposure to single clients

The European Banking Authority has made several recommendations for tighter regulation of the European Union's "large exposures" regime. It also warned against prematurely adopting the "standardised approach" to measuring counterparty credit risk within the large exposures regime.
