BoE officials admit need for clearer communication
Mark Carney joined by deputies and COO at bank’s latest open forum, fielding questions from the general public
Members of the Bank of England's senior management have acknowledged the institution has a "long way to go" in improving how it communicates information to the public.
Today (October 14), Mark Carney and the bank's deputy governors spent time in the English midlands, meeting with various community groups. The aim was to "listen to feedback and ideas about how the bank can promote the good of the people", the bank says in a statement.
