Central Bank of Bahamas launches “Crisp Evolution” series, featuring colour-changing security thread
The Central Bank of Bahamas' new currency series will feature an innovative colour-changing security thread, the bank revealed today (September 28) on the launch of its first note.
The central bank has a commitment to "refresh" its family of banknotes every 10–12 years, says governor John Rolle. The last $10 was launched in 2005, so this latest initiative, dubbed "Crisp Evolution", is in keeping with the bank's mandate.
The acronym 'Crisp', which stands for Counterfeit Resistant Integrated
