Riksbank survey flags concerns on market functioning

Market participants see a host of dangers on the horizon

Swedish market participants are concerned about the Riksbank's monetary policy

Financial firms in Sweden have many concerns about the functioning of markets, according to Sveriges Riksbank's latest risk survey, published today (May 25).

Respondents to the Swedish central bank's survey ranked "geopolitical unease" and problems originating in emerging markets as the events most likely to be realised. However, they viewed problems in Sweden's housing market and Swedish accommodative monetary policy as likely to have the largest impact.

Only around one-third of respondents
