Nakaso stresses need for greater co-operation

There is a growing need to strengthen co-operation among central banks in the area of global financial stability, and the Bank of Japan (BoJ) should take a leading role, one of its deputy governors has said.

Hiroshi Nakaso stressed the need for central banks to "ever more closely" monitor and engage with the global financial system to maintain stability in their respective domestic financial systems.
