New Zealand launches remaining banknotes in new series
Final three denominations will circulate from May 16
New Zealand launched the remaining three banknotes in its new series today (April 11) – announcing the 20 New Zealand dollar (NZ$), NZ$50 and NZ$100 notes will enter circulation from May 16.
The new series, the first since 1999, includes two colour-changing designs, including one inside the holographic window on the notes. Other distinguishing security features include a “puzzle number” and raised ink.
