Turkey’s Kenç sheds light on central bank ‘roadmap’
Roadmap helps build confidence across five broad fronts, deputy says
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) is reshaping its policy framework across five major dimensions, helping to bolster confidence in the economy, deputy governor Turalay Kenç told an audience in London today (March 3).
Amid a period of heightened global volatility it was important for emerging markets to have the correct institutions in place to cope, Kenç said in remarks to Central Banking's National Asset-Liability Management (Nalm) conference.
