There are "continuing concerns" about the Irish credit union sector despite "improvement in some areas", a Central Bank of Ireland official has said.
The central bank had "most concerns" about the volume of loans and interest income, Anne Marie McKiernan, the central bank's registrar of credit unions, told a conference of Ireland's credit union development association on January 30.
