Lagarde calls for ‘fundamental change’ in Nigerian policy
IMF managing director tells policy-makers they must take decisive action
Christine Lagarde urged Nigerian policy-makers to implement "fundamental change" in the face of continued problems posed by the low oil price, in remarks to leaders today (January 6).
The IMF managing director told the country's National Assembly there was an "urgent need" to tackle a "massive infrastructure deficit" and "high levels" of poverty and inequality.
