Brazil private growth expectations slide further
Brazilian economy will contract by 3.62% this year, private institutions say
A weekly survey of 100 private financial institutions conducted by the Central Bank of Brazil has revealed they expect the economy to contract by 3.62% this year.
The latest readings show a change from last week's figures when analysts expected the Brazilian economy to contract by 3.5% and the inflation rate to be around the 10.4% figure. This week's readings show the inflation rate to be slightly higher at 10.61%.
