Irish economy improving but still vulnerable to shocks, central bank warns
According to its latest macro-financial review
The economic outlook for Ireland has improved over the last six months, but the country remains vulnerable to financial shocks, the Central Bank of Ireland said in its second macro-financial review of 2015.
The "major risk to financial stability" was possible "excessive risk-taking" by financial institutions in the current low-yield environment, said the bank's chief economist, Gabriel Fagan, at the launch of the review.
