Mario Draghi and Peter Praet explore nature of eurozone recovery
It is too early to judge how falling growth rates in emerging markets, the stronger euro and weaker oil and commodity prices will affect the European economic outlook, European Central Bank (ECB) president Mario Draghi said today (September 23).
Draghi told the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee "renewed downside risks" to the outlook for growth and inflation had emerged as a result of these developments, but stressed more information was necessary before assessing their total impact.
