BoE launches ‘Bank Underground’ research blog
Blog provides platform for researchers to voice more controversial ideas
The Bank of England (BoE) today (June 19) began to deliver on promises of greater freedoms for its research staff, launching a research blog and rebranded working papers.
The ‘Bank Underground' blog, a play on the name of the London Underground station that neighbours the central bank, aims to provide a sounding board for the more radical ideas members of the research team come up with.
