Draghi defends ECB participation in private events
Insists Coeuré did not reveal market-sensitive information at event
Mario Draghi has defended the right of European Central Bank (ECB) officials to discuss policy in private events, while insisting Benoit Coeuré did not reveal market-sensitive information in his behind-closed-doors speech on May 18.
