Bank of Spain remodels in light of SSM

A new structure for bank resolution and regulation is approved

The Bank of Spain unveiled a host of changes to its organisational structure today (April 29), designed to help the central bank adapt to the new supervisory landscape in Europe.

Most of the changes will be occur in what is currently the directorate general (DG) banking regulation and financial stability, led by Julio Durán since 2013.
