Sarah Dahlgren says New York Fed wants to learn from breaches in security
The fear of sharing intelligence in the area of cybersecurity could harm supervisors' efforts to address vulnerabilities, according to Sarah Dahlgren, an executive vice-president at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Dahlgren, speaking at the OpRisk North America Annual Conference on March 24, said the New York Fed has a team dedicated to improving its supervisory approach, which will be considering how to enhance communication around cyber threats and events.
