Bundesbank explores macro-prudential framework
Deutsche Bundesbank release financial stability review for 2014
The Deutsche Bundesbank is examining what legislative changes are necessary to establish a framework for macro-prudential policy in Germany, Claudia Buch said today – though the vice-president insisted she did not have a "wish list" of particular tools.
Speaking at the release of the Bundesbank's financial stability review for 2014, Buch warned German banks were "structurally vulnerable" to changes in housing prices, but stressed this was not an immediate cause for concern.
The review notes that
