Sweden: Sven-Erik Österberg, vice-chairman of the Riksbank's general council, has been appointed chairman of the Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA), Sweden's main prudential supervisor.
Österberg, who will formally join the FSA on August 1, but not take up his post as chair until January, will leave the Riksbank after Sweden's parliamentary elections in September, the bank said.
He has been vice-chairman of the general council, which appoints the members of the executive board, the Riksbank's
