Hungary central bank hails pro-growth policies as IMF urges caution

Central Bank of Hungary says growth in SME lending is down to its Funding for Growth Scheme

The Central Bank of Hungary (CBH) on Friday released figures that it says show its Funding for Growth Scheme (FGS) supporting a significant increase in lending to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), on the same day as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) released its annual report on the country's economy that was broadly supportive of the central bank's actions.
